After adding Kendall Fuller and David Amerson, it seems a solid slot/nickel corner would almost complete the Chiefs’ quest for d-back improvement. Widely recognized as one of the top slot corners in the league, Aaron Colvin is likely not going to return to Jacksonville for the upcoming season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars top-2 at that position are pro-bowlers, Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. With the improvement of this defense and the franchise tag possibly being used on Allen Robinson, the four-year vet Colvin could wind up on the market.
According to Pro Football Focus, Colvin allowed just 0.76 yards per play. Chiefs’ long snapper James Winchester thinks that he would be a perfect fit in Kansas City. It will be interesting to see if the Chiefs can add one more back with a bit of experience.
