Adam Schefter reports that The Chicago Bears have traded for Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders. The deal is unofficial, but us the closest Mack has gotten to be traded.
Mack has been sitting out all offseason in hopes of inking a new deal. It looks as if he’ll be getting that new deal, just not with Oakland. The Bears have received permission to start negotiating a deal with Mack, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rumors had been swirling, that the Raiders were looking to get two first-round draft picks in exchange for Mack. We’ll continue to update this story as we gather more information. For now, it looks like the path through the AFC West just got a bit easier. Go Chiefs!
